It's been an interesting week with some trips up to the New England area. After my delivery in Connecticut on Wednesday I went back to Bethlehem PA for another load up to Medline in Uxbridge.
Uxbridge is a small place just a few miles south of Worcester and about 30 miles west of Boston. Just off highway 146.
I arrived the night before and the customer have overnight parking, next morning I checked in and was informed that drivers unload themselves here.
I tried to unload, but the the skids were too heavy and I was only provided a manual pallet jack. I asked for help and they unloaded it for me. Thanks for the help guys!
Once I was done I headed down towards Delaware to pick up another load from Bay Shippers, but i had I stop in Bordentown for some fuel. I exited on exit 7 towards us206 and while being on the off ramp my whole grille fell off and I could hear it being crushed underneath my wheels. I guess the plastic brackets finally gave up.
The Bay Shippers is literally a real shithole, but the people were friendly and helpful. I was done loaded in less than an hour.
At this point I was running low on hours, both 11 and 14 so I hurried back on to the highway and made it with a few minutes in violation to the travel plaza in Somerset.
