Seems like I'm back at the dog food factory again, but this time on a Friday. I decided to work this weekend so I got this load back out east yesterday, delivering today. The delivery of Velvet ice cream yesterday took longer than expected so I got short on my 14, which had me park early in a rest area in eastern Ohio.
I started this morning at 6 AM and drove about four hours to the Carlisle yard where I took a shower, then headed further towards Quakertown.
Just outside of Carlisle on I 81 northbound there was an accident, a trailer had broken in two pieces and the traffic was backed up for miles. I was getting short on time so I needed to find a way around fast, so I headed down on I 83 south then 22 east, and got back on 81 after the accident. This saved me a lot of time.
I finally got to Quakertown about 10 minutes late which wasn't too bad, I'm glad I took that little detour to avoid the accident, else I would be even later.
Tomorrow morning I'm picking up a load from Hazelton going to Henderson NV, but I'm just going to take it over to the Indy yard and drop it before heading home
