A pretty chill day I must say. Started this morning in Monroe Township NJ delivering the Tyson product to Costco on Costco Drive, checked in, and did all that stuff you do there. Was immediately assigned to door #144 and 2 hours later I was done and could leave.
My next dispatch however is preloaded tonight at 7 PM and delivers Friday at 4 am. That's a lot of time on my hands for just a couple of hours driving, so I decided to make this a chill day. I stopped first at Love's in Bordentown for some fuel and a shower. Getting parking there is not easy as you might already know, but today was my lucky day, a bunch of spots open. Unfortunately, their water heater was busted and could only provide cold water.
This day was going to be too chill with only cold water, so I just got the fuel I needed and headed over to Petro across the street instead. Before the shower, I figured it was time for my truck to have one too so I headed up to Blue Beacon at the north end of their parking lot. It took me about 50 minutes in line to get my truck washed and I added some tire dressing on it too. It looked really good, but I need to get my rims polished.
I got the shower and headed west on 276 and decided to stop at the mall, maybe for some shopping? but also for some food and they got one of my favorites there. Whole Foods.
My preloaded trailer will be done pretty late so I'm just gonna stay here until tomorrow then head up to Hazleton to get it, even then I'll be super early for delivery, but I'm hoping maybe, just maybe they would be able to unload me earlier.
My next load will take me back to Hazleton for a Walmart load going back to Wintersville OH for a drop. Then it's officially weekend!
