Another week and another load back to New York City. Now sitting outside R Best in Port Washington, waiting to get my hours back so I can drive the last 30-40 seconds into their yard and deliver. It really starts to get annoying when you gonna be 2 hours late for your appointment just because you can't drive a few seconds.
Picked up this load as usual in Springfield Ohio, These loads are supposed to be done and 13:00, but they're always a little late, and the drive over to New York City is at least 10 hours or maybe more, plus the necessary breaks. I may just simply save myself the trouble and start rejecting these loads because this is ridiculous. On the other hand, it doesn't really matter because I'm paid a salary and not by the miles.
