I got a new dispatch this morning, a trailer from the Carlisle yard needs to be taken to Bethlehem PA. So I headed out of Bronx and towards Carlisle.
On my way down there they called me again and wanted me to take another trailer first, from the yard to a cold storage in Elizabethtown for re-stacking a couple of skids. I have no problem helping out so I accepted that. It's also worth mentioning that they pay me by week, and not by miles.
It's a beautiful day today, almost like spring with a temperature in the low 50, in other words a perfect day for a much needed truck wash here at the Blue Beacon in Carlisle.
