It's been a struggle for me to live comfortably in my motorhome, but then again it's my first winter so here's the first product I'd like to recommend to anyone out there, RV or not that is freezing and just wants to stay a little warmer.

A Chinese diesel heater from amazon, don't get me wrong though. The better brands of diesel heaters like Webasto might have better components. Not to worry, the components on the Chinese heaters can easily be replaced or upgraded to higher quality. Also, the price is about 10 times less than the big brands.

I mounted this in the cargo compartment of my motorhome, I used Flexi duct pipes bought from Lowes to attach it to my existing floor heater duct system that runs on propane.

It comes with a small remote control to adjust the temps up and down, and also to turn it on and off. The digital controller is currently still in the storage compartment because the wires are pretty short. All this is easily customizable and I will extend the wires to have the digital controller inside my motorhome instead.

Also, the thermostat is located inside the controller so that's why this is a better solution.

The fuel tank is about a gallon, you can hook it up to your motorhome's primary fuel tanks or buy a bigger fuel tank, but once the home is warm you can turn down the speed and the amount of diesel used is almost nothing.

The temps the last couple of days have been between 27 - 30 degrees and I haven't used more than a couple of gallons of diesel in 3 days. Now with this thing taking care of the heating, I can save my propane for my generator and water heater and also some cooking
