It must have been like 30 lights or so from the company yard in Olive Branch MS to my next customer, the US Cold Storage in Covington TN.
I got checked in on time last night for my Walmart delivery, but wasn't done before midnight, just after my 14 hour expired. There wasn't much parking options in the area except from a little gas station down the road that was completely packed. Instead I decided to drive an hour back to the company yard.
I woke up this morning with a little headache, I guess more sleep would have helped. I also remembered to get some more trip sheets. Tried to get on the inspection lane to add some window washer fluid, but it took forever so I just left.
About an hour and a half later and some 30 lights, which fortunately was mostly green, I arrived about 30 minutes late.
I wasn't sure whether this was going to be a live load or a preload, but based on past experience it was most likely the latter.
It didn't take me long to check in and get my bills, hooking up a preloaded trailer and I was ready to go.
Just rolled into Loves here in Dyersburg, just about 50 minutes north I was able to scale and get some food.
