Was raining heavy last night in northern Florida on i95, decided it was time to call it a night, but I wasn't the only one thinking of that. All the rest areas were full, but without much choise to go any further I found a questionable spot there. Started this morning just before 8, but first I had to slide my tandems one hole back as I forgot to do the night before.
The shipper down in Belle Glade loaded me pretty heavy in the front, I was exactly 34,000 lbs on truck and trailer tandems with less than a quarter tank and me being lazy and gambling I picked a scale too far away to check my weight. I should know better lol
Anyway, I've been planning my route accordingly, making sure I dont pass any scales with more than quarter tank of fuel. Now I'm at this rest area in Virginia with less than 300 miles left so I'm feeling good about this. Will start tomorrow and with a little luck with the morning rush thru Washington and Baltimore I should be right on time for my drop appointment.
