When having pictures showed as thumbnails on your site its pretty boring and not very goodlooking to make them open in the same window or a new window when you click them for a fullsize. With these three tools you can have them open in the same window without leaving the page

Lets start with what I have been using on several of my own sites, the lightbox..

Lightbox

Lightbox is a nice way to show off your pictures on your site, all you need to do is to attach three js files into your header and place the attrribute rel=”lightbox” to your anchor tag like this

Then your ready to make your pictures pop up in a wonderfull way when your users want to see the fullsize.

Simpleviewer

Simpleviewer is more like a gallery where you put your pictures into. They are placed as small thumbnails, click them and you see them in fullsize. Very nice to show of your galleries with style. Click here for a demo

ThickBox

This one is pretty cool because it makes it possible to not only put pictures in it like lightbox, but also flash and other media. How cool is that ?
