Abnormally long delivery times have caused Volvo to release details of its new generation FH and FH16, almost a year prior to their launch. To give potential buyers some idea of what they will be getting for their money, Volvo has released some vague details and a handful of teaser images.

Google Pagerank Predictors

I wanted to find out the future pagerank of my site librarium-online.com and did a search on google for “pagerank predictor”. Lots of results came up. I know what my current pagerank for my site is because of the google toolbar. Since google is the creator of the toolbar and the pagerank system I trust this toolbar for showing me the correct information.
Im now gonna list a few of the sites that came up and which did not do a satisfactory job by giving me the information I needed.
Librarium Online Mediakit

The last few days I have been making a better mediakit for Librarium Online in order to get more advertisers. Last night I added an adspace chart that shows the total of the site from head to toe, and just a few hours after there was a new ad in the sitewide header space. We have had alot of advertisers at LO before, but this proves that giving them alot of information in a mediakit makes them trust the site.

Back from Europe

Im back from my trip to Antwerpen in Belgium now. Just arrived in Larvik with the ferry from Frederikshavn in Denmark. I left with the ferry last saturday and arrived in Frederikshavn sunday morning. After checking in my goods at the customs I drove for about 4 hours to Padborg where I waited until 22:00. In Germany you cant drive in the weekends unless you drive some kind of temperature regulated goods. In this case steel plates are not 
Around 21:40 I started driving from Padborg to Hambur, then Bremen and down into Holland and I arrived in Antwerpen the next morning around 9:00. I had no more driving hours left and tried to unload the goods at the “Antwerpen hafen”. Their harbour is big, but anyway I went to Abes Quay 347 in Zwarte Weg.
After the unloading I went to Meer to stay until the next morning to pickup some goods at Maxit in Ditteln in Germany.
I will upload some pictures later and also write a little review of what I think about the Sony NVU92 GPS
Going to Antwerpen

Im going to Antwerpen this weekend from Larvik with Petter Wessel. I have 5 plates of steel. A total of 25 tonn. Currently Im waiting for the ferry from Haugesund to Stavanger to pick up the last plate, then Im heading home for a very short weekend
Lett Tak to Bergen

Today I arrived at Bergen with Lett Tak. First Im going to unload two elemts at Apeltun School, then Im going to Solhammar in Fyllingsdalen to unload the rest. Im supposed to unload the 2nd part tomorrow, but I hope I can get it off today.
Week 36

 Week 36 is over and here are the new pictures from work. This week have been pretty good, to bad I didnt get the trip to Spain.
It started nicely with one delivery in Husnes, then Kongsberg and Husnes again and ended the week with a pipe from Langesund to Bergen
Statoil Subsea Pool

I got a large pipe loaded yesterday at Grenland Offshore in Langesund then I went to Ã…gotnes in Bergen with it. Its 15m long and weights around 16500kgs.
I woke up at 7:00 today and was getting ready, but they had no cranes available for us so we had to wait for a couple of hours before we could get started. The time is now ).20 as I write this and I can now see the mobile crane coming
After this Im going to Dale to pick up something, not sure what it is yet, but Ill post this weeks picture later tonight when I get home
Husnes
Sep 3rd
We arrived last night at Husnes. We are here to deliver another load of Lett Tak. Im # 11 and Morten is #12. Im standing now at a “soon to be” parking lot just across the Statoil gas station. We bought a couple of cheeseburgers there last night by the way and they tasted great. So I would recommend the Statoil station here if you are hungry They also have a wireless internet zone.
Im going to unload at 12:00pm, its still 2,5 hours left so I have plenty of time to surfe the net

Week 35

Gressvik

Its 7:37 and I just woke up, Im now getting ready to deliver some roof elements to a new building in Gressvik near Fredrikstad in Østfold. I was supposed to unload at 8:00, but because of some mistakes the last truck (Kjell Sverre) is going to be unloaded before me. Its not much room here for three semi trailers, but we got it figured out somehow. Kjetil the driver of the 3rd truck is waiting at the local grocery stores parking lot.
The time is now 10:30 and Im counting hours.
Rock on the way

The rock is now loaded at the North Sea Stone Industry in Sirevåg, Rogaland. As you can see on the picture, its pretty large but I did expect it to be larger. The weight was around 35,2 ton.
Verdal to Stord
Aug 28th
On the ferry now from Bergen to Stord with a 40′ container from Verdal. Still a few minutes left until I can start driving again. After the delivery of the container Im heading for Stavanger to pickup a 39 tons rock :O

Going to Verdal
Aug 26th
On my way to Verdal today. I left pretty late from home, around 15:00 and is going to deliver a 40′ container sometime on monday morning. I still have some hours driving left and Im currently at Myklagard near Elverum now. Im having a 45 minutes break here before I can drive for another 4,5 hours, then I guess its bedtime.
With Lett Tak to Toftoy

Today Im in Toftoy, near Bergen with Lett Tak. They are building a school here. After I have delivered the roof Im going to Aker Kvaerner at Stord to pick up a 40′ container.
The truck in the picture is Knut at Gustavsen Transports truck. He was going to deliver at 8:00 and Im at 10:00. The picture was taken 9:30 so Im going to be late.
Boring and sunny day

Nice weather today, it started with a boring trip with a load to Sandefjord, then to Moss to pick up some Rockwool back to Larvik. Tomorrow its Sandefjord again
Back to business

Ok, the vacation is over and Im back to work. Tomorrow Im going with a load from Larvik to Sandefjord. Yes I know, its a great trip. Lets hope it gets better soon or I might have too look for something else. Actually I have been thinking about it for a long time. The tought of having a 9-5 job is very tempting, but still not sure what to do about it cause that would mean an decrease in salary, but I might go for it later.

Finaly the VIP styling set from Sweden is almost there. Ive added the sideskirts now and I have the front and rear bumper left. I have also added a XC grille and black headlights.
My 2nd trip to Poland

This week we went with two trucks to Gdynia, Poland. I started my week at Haugesund the 20th Mai 2007. After unloading some wood at two different places we went south from Haugesund to Stavanger on E39. We was going to load steel at Ruukki in Bryne, a few km south of Stavanger. We got too late the first day so we had to wait until Tuesday to load
Expanding the mall

This is the first entry of my “trucking diary”. Today I was in Kr.Sand to deliver roof elements. My unloading time was 9:00 in the morning, but they didnt start the unloading before 13:00. The rain was poruing down and I got wet and when I left the sun came. The picture was taken today.
